The facility will create more student-centered pathways for FLC, from alleviating capacity issues at the current Student Life Center to playing an essential role in recruiting and retaining high-caliber student-athletes. CommonSpirit Mercy Hospital Partnership
Fort Lewis College is making yet another stride in health and performance facility development with the support of CommonSpirit Mercy Hospital, the premier medical provider of the Four Corners region. CommonSpirit Health, the Official Sports Medicine Partner of Fort Lewis College Athletics, committed $4 million as a lead gift to the FLC Foundation and FLC to kickstart the renovation of the existing Aquatics Center. The CommonSpirit Sports Performance Center will house strength and conditioning equipment, athletic training, and physical therapy amenities, including on-campus training and recovery guided by Mercy Sports Medicine providers and renowned sports medicine and orthopedic treatment experts.
