In our nature, students will engage with the services and organizations overseen by the Division of Student Engagement. That includes everything from the Counseling Center to student clubs, club sports, supporting food and housing insecurity, the Environmental Center, KDUR Radio, Outdoor Pursuits, and tons more. We are committed to providing services and programs that provide students with rich, full learning experiences.
Student Clubs & Organizations
From athletics to outdoor recreation. From cultural groups to academic and professional groups, and hobbies to the arts, there are student-run groups for just about anything that captures our students' imaginations. And if they don’t find the group they're looking for, they can always start their own.
Counseling Center
Students visit the Counseling Center for support with depression, anxiety, adjustment to college life, situational challenges, trauma, or the treatment of ongoing conditions. Others want to deepen their self-understanding. We offer traditional counseling, consultation sessions, and walk-in support.
Student Health Center
Our Student Health Center keeps students healthy! Students get inclusive and collaborative health care to support academic and professional success. Students will find affordable and accessible healthcare services on campus like our in-house pharmacy for new medication and refills, and on-site labs.
Student Life Center & Recreational Services
Donations help support student membership to our Student Life Center. Students reach for new heights on the climbing wall, pump iron in the weight room, raise their heart rate on a treadmill or the indoor track, or round up a few friends for some pickup b-ball. On one of Durango's many sunny days, students head outside to the tennis courts or the frisbee golf course.
Environmental Center
The Environmental Center's mission is to strengthen students' commitment to creating a more environmentally and socially responsible world by providing them with meaningful opportunities to foster change on campus and in our community. Dimensions of the EC's work include student-led projects and programs, campus and community and sustainability, academic support, and fostering connections.
Student Engagement Impact Fund
Supporting the Student Engagement Impact Fund provides dollars to be utilized as needs and creative endeavors demand to the programs within the unit. Donations to any given program will be provided to them directly through the Fort Lewis College Foundation.
